PLAYING THE LONG GAME: JOHAN POSKA TILANDER

Johan Poska Tilander builds companies with longevity in mind. His entrepreneurial journey began in the early 2000s with Office Management, founded to rethink the copier and office market for small businesses. With a strong focus on customer value and long-term strategy, the company quickly evolved into a full-service provider covering document management, IT, telephony, video, and facility services.

By 2011, Office Management served 5,500 customers, generated 600 MSEK in revenue, and maintained solid profitability. When acquisition interest grew, Johan chose a path that protected both the company’s culture and future. Partnering with Priveq, he remained actively involved while expanding the business into Norway and Finland. Revenue grew to 900 MSEK, and in 2016 the company was acquired by Inter IKEA Investments.

Building on those experiences, Johan founded Serafim Group – a platform for creating sustainable, high-performing companies across different sectors. Guided by customer focus, operational excellence, and strategic growth, Serafim has grown into a diversified group including healthcare staffing, financial services, and property development.

Alongside his business ventures, Johan is an Ambassador Member of Founders Alliance, where he shares experience and supports other founders through strategic exchange and peer learning.

Johan Tilander’s approach is clear: build strong foundations, think long-term, protect culture, and see growth and exits as part of a broader journey. It’s a mindset focused not on quick wins, but on businesses that last.
