mathias thulin leads the jury recognizing the next generation of medium-size founders.
DECADES OF FOUNDER EXPERTISE
Last year at Berns, Mathias Thulin together with his co- founders Samir Smajic, Carl Carell, and Jonas Blanck, was honored with the Growth Rings in Silver in the Founder of the Year – Medium Size Companies category. This year, he has taken on a new role as Chair of the Jury, bringing decades of hands-on entrepreneurial experience to the task of identifying and celebrating the next generation of founders building companies expanding internationally.
Entrepreneurship is more than a good idea - it demands execution, judgment, resilience, and a deep understanding of how to scale businesses sustainably. That is precisely the perspective Mathias brings to the jury table. With years of experience founding and growing multiple companies, he knows what it takes to move from concept to global impact.
Medium-sized companies are especially critical for economic growth and innovation. They often operate at the intersection of agility and scale, driving new technologies and creating jobs. By supporting founders of medium-sized businesses, Mathias and the jury spotlight companies that are not only profitable but capable of shaping industries and contributing significantly to the global economy.
Mathias began his entrepreneurial journey with ProspectEye, where he co-founded and helped scale the company over nearly a decade. There, he gained invaluable insights into product development, data-driven sales, team building, and long-term business strategy - lessons that would later prove essential in his next venture.
In 2015, he co-founded GetAccept, a platform designed to restore human connection in increasingly automated B2B sales. By integrating video, chat, content sharing, proposal tracking, and e-signatures, GetAccept helps sales teams close deals faster while keeping relationships personal. Today, as Chief Strategy Officer, Mathias guides the company’s vision, product development, and international expansion.
For decades, Mathias has also been a highly valuable and active member of Founders Alliance, growing alongside a community of founders, exchanging insights, and learning from peers. This long-standing engagement has shaped his understanding of what makes founders succeed - knowledge he now brings to his role as jury chair, ensuring recognition goes to founders who turn vision into results through proven experience and execution.
From building companies to sharing his expertise with others, Mathias Thulin’s career exemplifies the critical skills that turn ideas into sustainable, growing businesses, showing that true entrepreneurial success comes from applying insight, skill, and decisive action to bold ideas.
