# Founders Awards Gala 2021

Founders Awards Gala was held at the Stockholm City Hall on September 16 in 2021. A memorable and joyful evening for the over 300 participating large scale founders. During the evening Founders Alliance awarded extraordinary founders in all categories of company building.

Earlier in the day, the finalists in each category had introduce themselves and their companies to a jury of large scale founders. During the evening, the winners of Founder of the Year Honorary Award, Founder of the Year and Young Founder of the Year received diplomas and the statuette The Growth Rings.

**Founder of the Year Honorary Award 2021**

**Christina Wahlström**, founder of Mama Mia, and **Darko Pervan**, founder of Välinge, were awarded Founder of the Year Honorary Award 2021.

**Winners Young Founder of the Year 2021**

**Ida Norström, **Energy Effective Solutions and **Anton Fast and Simon Geldner,** Ophena received the Growth Rings in Gold, and **Petronella Gustafsson,** Progress Me and **Sebastian Salomonsson, **SebSalo Energi received the Growth Rings in Silver.

**Winners Founder of the Year 2021**

**Monica Born, **Superfront and **Pierre Persson, **MUD Studios received the Growth Rings in Gold, and **Rahel Belatchew, **Belatchew Arkitekter and **Carl-Johan Beckman, Kristian Johansson and Niklas Uddholm, **Awave, received the Growth Rings in Silver.

**Maria Åkerberg, **MARIA ÅKERBERG and **Carl Hörberg, **84codes received the Growth Rings in Gold, and **Therése Lorentzon and Johanna Deras,** PRO TEMPORE and **Jónas Antonsson, **Raw Fury received the Growth Rings in Silver. 

**Niklas Hedin, **Centiro and **Pirkko T. Kyllönen, **Språkservice Sverige received the Growth Rings in Gold, and **Mikael Kretz **and **Håkan Paulsson, **Qgroup received the Growth Rings in Silver.

**Cecilia Ekholm, **Särnmark Group and **Magnus Wilhelmsson, **Nordic Wellness received the Growth Rings in Gold, and **Johan Waller, Kristian Liljefors and Fredrik Palmgren, **Business Wellness Group received the Growth Rings in Silver. 

The purpose of the Founders Awards is to promote and inspire successful founders by highlighting entrepreneurial role models, increasing the pace of growth in existing entrepreneurial companies and creating value for participating founders through inspiration, exchange of knowledge and valuable relationships.
